The PADI Underwater Navigator Diver is a specialty course and can be applied toward your PADI Advance Open Water Diver rating as one of your elective dives.

Typically this course can be completed in one day. During this course you'll gain practical skills and expert knowledge for underwater navigation. This course includes the following subjects:

1. Planning and organizing underwater navigation.

2. Associated problems and hazards of underwater navigation.

3. Natural underwater navigation techniques.

4. Estimating distances underwater.

5. How to use underwater search and navigation patterns.

6. Various dive site relocation techniques.

7. Common compass navigation techniques.
