The PADI Underwater Naturalist Diver is a specialty course and can be applied toward your PADI Advance Open Water Diver rating as one of your elective dives.

Typically this course can be completed in one day. During this course you'll learn about the underwater ecosystem and how to interact responsibly with aquatic life.

This course includes the following subjects:

1. Proper planning, organization, techniques, problems & hazards of the diving environment.

2. An overview of common aquatic life colonies and interactions.

3. The truth and myths of potentially dangerous aquatic life.

4. Responsible human interactions with aquatic life.

5. Diving techniques used to help preserve aquatic life and minimize aquatic life disturbance.
