The PADI Rescue Diver course develops your
knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver
assists and rescues, and
render first aid.
This challenging course teaches you how to
recognize and prevent potential diving
accidents. You're taught how to perform
in-water rescues and manage dive accidents.

Typically this course can be completed in 4
days. This course is ‘performance’ based and
involves academics, skills training in
confined or open water, followed by
open water scenarios. We ask that you
complete 1 day's recreational diving before
taking this course to check weights,
buoyancy and equipment.
During your course
you'll gain practical skills and expert knowledge to be a skilled rescue
diver. Following is a snap-shot of skills and techniques that are taught
during the PADI Rescue Diver course:
- Review and practice simulated dive related accident scenarios.

procedures for pressure related accidents.

Note:
Before starting module 2 of the PADI Rescue Diver course you must have
completed the PADI Medic First Aid Response Course within 24
months or hold a current certification of an equivalent to a First Aid &
CPR course within 24 months. If you do not have this certification you
can enroll in our Emergency First Response Course.
We do ask all students to complete a warm
up dive prior to starting this course.

PADI
Medical Statement prior to starting the course.
If any of the medical conditions listed in the form exists then
signed clearance from a doctor, valid within 12 months, will be
