The PADI Drift Diver is a specialty course and can be applied toward your PADI Advance Open Water Diver rating as one of your elective dives.

Typically this course can be completed in one day. During this course you'll gain skills and specialized knowledge for drift diving.

1. Planning, organization, procedures and drift diving techniques.

2. Possible problems and hazards of drift diving.

3. Special equipment: lines, floating devices & reels.

4. Buoyancy control, navigation and communication.

5. Site selection and overview of effects and causes of currents.
