Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Day
When you arrive at Cairo airport we'll meet and transfer
you to your hotel for check in.
Day 02: Giza -
Cairo
Your tour guide will
meet you in the reception of
your hotel and transfer you
to Giza. The
day starts with a guided tour of the
legendary pyramids of Cheops, Cherfrern and Mykerionos
- also known as the Great Pyramids of Giza. Next is a guided tour of the Sphinx
Monument.
Then your guide will transfer you to
downtown Cairo for
a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum
of antiquities.
At the end of the day your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
Day 03: Islamic
& Coptic Cairo
Your tour guide will
meet you in the reception of
your hotel and transfer you
to Islamic Cairo and give you a
guided tour of the
Citadel and Mohammed Ali Mosque
located in Islamic Cairo.
In the afternoon is a guided tour of
Coptic Cairo.
First, you'll walk along the streets -
retrace the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of
years ago.
Next, visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa that
was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Then you will visit many other Coptic churches
in this area.
Finally
your guide will transfer you to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaars that dates
back to 1382. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper,
perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and more.
At the end of the day your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
Day 04: Cairo Free Day
This day is free for leisure and independent
activities.
Day 05: Aswan
Breakfast at your hotel and check
out. Then our representative
will meet you up in the reception of
your hotel and transfer you
to Cairo International airport (domestic terminal)
to board a flight to
Aswan.
Upon arrival our representative will
meet you at the airport and transfer
you
to your hotel for check in.
In the afternoon your guide will
meet you in the reception of your hotel and transfer you to the Nile River for a
felucca
sail around
Elephantine Island
-
Botanical Gardens
-
Agha Khan Mausoleum.
After your felucca sail your guide will transfer you
back to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is free for
leisure.
Day 06: Aswan
Our
representative will meet you up in the reception of your hotel and
give you a guided tour of the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae temple.
At the end of the day your guide will transfer you
back to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is free for
leisure.
Day 07: Kom Ombo - Edfu
Your guide
will meet you in the reception of your hotel
and transfer you by modern A/C bus
to Kom Ombo.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo you will have a
guided tour of the
Gods Sobek & Haroeris temple.
Then
you'll continue north to Edfu stopping
for a guided tour of the tour of the God Horus
temple - one of the most preserved
temple in Egypt which was dedicated to
the Great Falcon God Horus.
You'll continue
toward
Luxor.
Upon arrival in Luxor your guide will transfer you to your hotel for check in.
The remainder of the day is free for leisure and independent activities.
Day 08: Luxor
West Bank
Your guide will meet you
in the reception of your hotel and transfer you to the West Bank. The day starts
with a guided
tour of the Valley of the Kings,
Queen Hatshepsut temple
and Colossi of Memnon Statue.
The remainder of the day is free
for leisure and independent activities.
Day 09: Luxor
East Bank
Your guide will meet you
in the reception of your hotel and give you a guided tour of the Luxor temple
and Karnak temple - both located on the East Bank.
The remainder of the day is free
for leisure and independent activities.
In the evening we'll transfer you to
the train station to board a first class sitting train. Overnight onboard back
to Cairo.
Day 10: Cairo Free Day
Early morning arrival in Cairo.
Our representative will meet you
in the train station and transfer you to your hotel for check in. The remainder
of the day is free for leisure and independent activities.
Day 11: Departure Day
We'll pick you up at your hotel and transfer you back to the airport for your
final departure.
