Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Day
When you arrive at Cairo airport we'll meet and transfer you to your hotel for check in.
 

Day 02: Islamic & Coptic Cairo
Your tour guide will meet you in the reception of your hotel and transfer you to Islamic Cairo and give you a guided tour of the Citadel and Mohammed Ali Mosque located in Islamic Cairo.

In the afternoon is a guided tour of Coptic Cairo. First, you'll walk along the streets - retrace the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. Next, visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Then you will visit many other Coptic churches in this area.

Finally your guide will transfer you to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaars that dates back to 1382. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and more.

At the end of the day your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
 

Day 03: Giza - Cairo
Your tour guide will meet you in the reception of your hotel and transfer you to Giza. The day starts with a guided tour of the legendary pyramids of Cheops, Cherfrern and Mykerionos - also known as the Great Pyramids of Giza. Next is a guided tour of the Sphinx Monument.

Then your guide will transfer you to downtown Cairo for a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum of antiquities.

At the end of the day your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 04: Nile Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel and check out. Then our representative will meet you up in the reception of your hotel and transfer you to Cairo International airport (domestic terminal) to board a flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your cruise ship for check in and embarkation. Felucca sail around Elephantine Island - Botanical Gardens - Agha Khan Mausoleum. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 05: Nile Cruise
Guided tour of the High Dam - Philae temple - sail to Kom Ombo - guided tour of the Kom Ombo temple - sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 06: Nile Cruise
Guided tour of the Horus temple - sail to Esna - cross the locks - sail to Luxor - afternoon free for leisure. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 07: Nile Cruise
Disembarkation after breakfast. Guided tour on the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon Statue - afternoon free for leisure or optional tour on the East Bank: Luxor & Karnak temples.

In the evening we'll transfer you  to the train station to board a first class sitting train. Overnight onboard back to Cairo.

Day 08: Cairo Free Day
Early morning arrival in Cairo. Our representative will meet you in the train station and transfer you to your hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is free for leisure and independent activities.

Day 09: Departure Day
We'll pick you up at your hotel and transfer you back to the airport for your final departure.
